Acupuncture

Acupuncture is among the oldest healing practices in the world. As part of Traditional Oriental Medicine, acupuncture aims to restore and maintain health through the stimulation of specific points on the body.

Esoteric Acupuncture

Illness in the body occurs when discord registers in the feeling world of an individual.  Esoteric Acupuncture dissolves the discord in the feelings which in turn removes the hindrance from the body to heal. Once the body is healed of the dis-ease/illness, Esoteric Acupuncture, when used regularly, increases the vibratory rate of the body, thus allowing the individual to achieve greater energy and clarity in daily affairs.

“Esoteric Acupuncture is a synthesis of traditional Chinese acupuncture and Chinese Five Element theory with the Hindu nadi system and laya yoga, elements of the Hebrew Kabbala (Qabbalah), Sacred Geometry, field, quantum and superstring physics, Dinshah’s color theories, Pythagorean numbers, Platonic solids, tetrahedral geometry, the Tibetan philosophy of Djwhal Khul, the Theosophical concepts of Madame Blavatsky, jnana yoga, Naturopathy and a few newer thoughts of the Age of Aquarius. All of these philosophies are combined in a usable format through the utilization of the Chakra Patterns and the New Encoding Patterns of Esoteric Acupuncture. Most people do not realize the scope of Esoteric Acupuncture. Esoteric Acupuncture is a concept on a way of viewing life and a suggestion on how to make changes to maximize a harmonious existence in this lifetime.” Mikio Sankey, Support the Mountain, Chapter 1, page 6

“Esoteric Acupuncture involves a total lifestyle change from merely living in the mundane outer world to being able to move into a more meaningful synthesis of both outer and inner worlds. This involves the participant taking responsibility for his or her daily life on all levels. We are attempting to move from a mere physical existence to the soul level and higher. It is up to each individual to make this choice.” –Mikio Sankey, Support the Mountain, Chapter 1 page 7

“Others may want to move into a higher level of existence and consciousness. This requires that you also clean your physical body to vibrate at a cleaner higher vibrational level to be able to make sense of the expansiveness of new realities in the internal esoteric world. You must take responsibility to understand your own special inner rhythm and inner vibrations. You will develop and forge your own inner spiritual path. Humanity and the planet are very rapidly moving into a greater expansive consciousness, whether you are aware of the shift or not. Do not be left behind stuck in the old ways. The Age of Aquarius with a heightened level of consciousness, spirituality and wisdom is upon us now. You can be among the leaders and co-creators of this next phase for humanity, or you may be a follower. The choice is up to you.” –Mikio Sankey, Support the Mountain, Chapter 1 page 7

Chinese Herbology

Herbology is one of the more important modalities utilized in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Each herbal medicine prescription is a cocktail of many herbs tailored to the individual patient.  Many of the formulas are custom blends, specific for each patient.  We use granulated herbs to eliminate the need to cook the raw herbs .

Autoimmune Disorders and Multiple Chemical Sensitivities

Autoimmune disorders and multiple chemical sensitivities are common clinical disorders that are often inadequately diagnosed and treated by conventional pharmaceuticals. Drug toxicity and long-term side effects of anti-inflammatory medications can limit positive responses in many cases. The use of Chinese herbal medicines for these diseases is supported by the pharmacological research literature that demonstrates regulatory effects on immune functions, including such therapeutic targets as interferons, interleukins, and tumor necrosis factor.

Nutritional Counseling

…“The doctor of the future will no longer treat the human frame with drugs, but rather will cure and prevent disease with nutrition.” -Thomas Edison

...“Our food should be our medicine and our medicine should be our food.” – Hippocrates

On his deathbed, Dr. Louis Pasteur, the creator of the germ theory, stated, “The germ is nothing.  The terrain is everything.”  Therefore, changing inners of the body, changes the possibility of getting sick and increase the change to getting well.  The first medicine we ever receive is the food we eat.  Each item either allows the body to function, or inhibits it.  The standard American diet has taken us way from the true purpose of food.  We look at food purely as a means of entertainment.  Food has a purpose.  If the body is fed the proper food, the body will establish a state of wellness and vitality and the appetite will be quenched.  Getting to one’s perfect eating regime requires small steps.  It requires a gradual honing of the food eaten on a daily basis, so that the body begins to clean and clear itself.  As the body unclutters itself, problems start to disappear that you have been troubles with for years.  As the body changes, the appetites change too.  You will be craving (and enjoying) the foods you may now dislike.

“To eat is a necessity, but to eat intelligently is an art.” -La Rochefoucauld

“He that takes medicine and neglects diet wastes the skills of the physician.” – Chinese proverb

“Unfortunately, everything the experts tell us about diet is aimed at the whole population, and we are not all the same.” -The Scientist magazine

“Don’t eat anything your great-great grandmother wouldn’t recognize as food. There are a great many food-like items in the supermarket your ancestors wouldn’t recognize as food (Go-Gurt? Breakfast-cereal bars? Nondairy creamer?); stay away from these.” -Michael Pollan, author of The Omnivore’s Dilemma

“Today, more than 95% of all chronic disease is caused by food choice, toxic food ingredients, nutritional deficiencies and lack of physical exercise.” – Mike Adams, author, investigative journalist, educator

“Diet is the essential key to all successful healing. Without a proper balanced diet, the effectiveness of herbal treatment is very limited.” – Michael Tierra, C.A., N.D.

“Those who think they have no time for healthy eating, will sooner or later have to find time for illness.” – Edward Stanley
